Although I have worked with adolescents (ages 3-17) for the past 7 years on the academic side, I have gathered about 2 years of experience working with adolescents that have special needs. During this time, I broaden my skill set by working with children in a variety of settings. Such work include providing ABA therapy services to children diagnosed with Autism as a behavioral therapy technician. In addition, I also worked privately with special education students, serving as an academic liaison and mentor in their studies. Currently, I am a medical student in the Galveston area hoping to specialize in internal medicine-pediatrics with a special focus on special need populations.
