Erica is a wonderful, hard-working, extremely loving, thoughtful, and caring nanny. She has watched my children for the last 2 years. She stayed with my children overnight when I worked night shift as a nurse. She would cook them dinner, do bedtime with them and then get them up in the morning, make their lunches and drop them off safely to school. After I switched jobs I did not need her as a night nanny any longer, she continued to be an important part of our lives and still occasionally watches my two children when I need help for a night out or on long weekends etc. As a result we have formed an invaluable and lifetime friendship. She is extremely trust-worthy and has always been very loving with my children. She would always go above and beyond her duties as a nanny to take care of my children and help me as a single mom in whatever way she could. She follows direction well and is extremely detail-oriented and thorough in everything she does. There were many times when I had last minute commitments and she was flexible and available whenever I needed her. Erica is a wonderful caretaker in that she is extremely creative with the kids. She not only cooks for the children, reads to them, bathes them (when appropriate/necessary) and sings to them but also makes up games and does creative projects with them to keep them engaged and learning in a fun, playful way. She is good at teaching lessons and is consistent, yet gentle, with discipline as well. She is great at being flexible with your schedule and is very prompt and reliable as well. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful addition Erica has been to our family. I would have kept her as our nanny FOREVER but unfortunately life changes as do your childcare needs. Any family who is lucky enough to make her an addition to their family is super blessed! I would be happy to be available for a phone call recommendation at any time.
