About Erica

From the time I was a kid myself, working with kids has been a passion of mine. I began working in the nursery at my church the minute that I could in 5th grade. From there, I began getting my first babysitting jobs and found a love for it. I got my first real job at 15 at a local preschool/daycare which truly set into place my career choice as a teacher. I am now in school on my way to getting a bachelors in elementary education with a concentration in special education. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of ages, behaviors, and families. I was a mentor over last summer that used equine therapy to help children ages 5-18 who may have special needs, experienced trauma, or need a place to talk and connect with nature. I have experience with caring for children with down syndrome, autism, ADHD, and more! My goal is to make every child feel like they have value and are given proper care and attention.
