About Erica

Hi there! I'm a patient, motivating tutor who loves to encourage creative critical thinking, especially in English Language Arts. I've worked in public libraries, a college tutoring center, and as a private tutor for a wide range of students. Some of my students have been: - 5th and 6th graders (with learning disabilities) improving their reading skills - Homeschoolers learning to analyze literature and write research papers - Highschoolers preparing for the SAT - College students writing extensive essays - Adults practicing intermediate English as their second language I typically meet with my students once a week for an engaging and encouraging session.
