My name is Erica and I currently work as a direct care worker for two teenagers with autism. I help them get dressed, showered, eat, follow a daily routine, and also engage them with a few learning activities as well as habilitation. Also, I do volunteer work during the school year at an elementary school as a Big Sister for BBBS. My little brother, from BBBS is also special needs and has a learning disability. I help him with school work as well as just interacting with his peers and socializing. Also, I have volunteered 90 hours of my time at Leupp Elementary, which is a school on the reservation up north. I was given the opportunity of shadowing a kindergarten and first grade teacher while I was there giving me plenty of experience around a variety of learning skills and teaching methods. Some of my qualifications and certifications include: CPR and First Aid certification, Article 9 certification, fingerprint clearance card. I also have a car and have a clean driving record.
