I started my career as a preschool teacher. I discovered that my favorite students had special needs. Since then, I have worked with everything from non-verbal autism to end of life dialysis care. I'm a certified EMT. I have experience with medical, behavioral, dietary, and emergency care. I am very comfortable working with non-verbal or cognitively challenged individuals and groups. I also communicate well in American Sign Language and am actively involved in the Deaf community although I am not deaf myself.
