I am certified as a CNA, and am qualified in First Aide/Basic Life Support and CPR. I have worked in a nursing home and gained experience dealing with a variety of elderly patients. I acted as an assistant to an occupational therapist in holding "social groups" with special needs kids to teach them life skills in a fun setting. In the social group, I assisted kids with a variety of diagnoses, including autism, sensory processing disorder, physical deformities, and various forms of muscle weakness or paralysis. I help with my autistic brother each day, and have learned multiple ways to help calm him down and keep him calm throughout the day.
