About Emmeline

I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and hard working. I like working with kids because they make me happy. It brightens my day every time I can help a child feel seen, heard, understood, or even just put a smile on their face. As the oldest daughter of 8 children, I started working with kids pretty young. I have been babysitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was about 10 years old. I also spent a couple years working pretty intensively with children at an elementary school a few years ago. I currently work with children ages 18mo-4yr for an hour every week as a nursery leader for my church. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time in nature, workout, and spend time with loved ones. One thing you should know about me is I am very energetic and do not find it hard to keep up with kids and keep things fun and exciting. My skills include, patience, communication skills, creativity, and compassion.
