A short time ago, I was offered the incredible experience to become a teaching assistant with a wonderful program called SECEP. Over the months of the past school year, my passion for working with children that have special needs grew. I loved the kids that I worked with and seeing them advance forward made my job feel a lot less like a job and more like something that I got to look forward to doing every day. Now that summer has arrived, I am hoping to find a family to work with where I can continue pursuing my passion for children with special needs.
