About Emma

Hi there my name is Em! I have experience working in High Needs special education as a para-professional as well as in English and Math intervention classes for K-6. I prioritize positive interactions in my work and bridging the gaps that are causing the initial issues in your child's education! My primary strength is reading intervention from a long term or one month intensive plan. Each student is given their own academic plan and assessments are given simply to gauge progress and determine next steps. I believe that education isn't a one size fits all approach and when students fall behind it just means their needs aren't being met properly and their educational plan just needs to be re-assessed! I have approximately 2. 5 years of college experience and am in the process of finishing my degree in child development. I offer in person and online supplemental instruction options! I will be attending Stephen's College in the fall to complete my major in child development!
