About Emma

I moved to Palmer about 4 1/2 years ago from Western New York. I received my bachelors in Psychology and Inclusive Early Childhood Education from Cazenovia College in 2018. I have been babysitting for more than 15 years but have been interested in working with children for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of children as young as 1-day-old and up to 13 years old. I have worked for families with 1-4 children and 4 different families with twins. Over the years I have cared for children with cerebral palsy, autism, behavioral difficulties, sensory processing disorders, epilepsy, apraxia, cortical visual impairments, prosopagnosia, and speech delays which has enhanced my understanding of childhood development. I enjoy nurturing and aiding in the development and growth of young children and understanding how their personalities are shaped. I also enjoy being outside, reading books, and creating crafts. I hope to engage your child/children in creative yet constructive play.
