About Emma

I am warm-heated, patient and creative. I have cared for children of all ages and have experience caring for children with special needs as well. I was raised in a family where I now am 1 of 12 siblings (biological, adopted, and bonus siblings since my mom remarried) I have a brother that is on the autism spectrum as well as other siblings that have various degrees of mental disabilities so I am very familiar with accommodating the specific needs a child or person may require. I am an artist so this means I have a unique ability to find new and creative ways to keep your child entertained including crafts, musical entertainment and creative problem solving. I worked as a preschool teacher for a little over 2 years and volunteered in kids church for most of my life which taught me so much about how to help young minds grow and develop. So, whatever your child's specific needs are, I am confident I will be a great fit for your family and I look forward to meeting you!
