About Emma

I have 10 years of experience caring for children. While babysitting for families in my community growing up, I realized a passion for caring for and teaching children. I've always had a nurturing and responsible predisposition. I have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College and am licensed to teach grades K-6. I'm currently working on a Masters of Special Education at MC while working as a graduate assistant and living in the Flowood/Brandon area. My studies have provided me with experience caring for and managing students in grades K-6. On top of childcare and classroom experience, I have also worked in children's ministry. I do not have experience caring for children with special needs, but I would love to gain experience as I'm aspiring to be a Special Education teacher. I can offer several childcare references from the Clinton and Madison/Ridgeland areas.
