About Emma

Hello! My name is Emma and I curently live in West Roxbury. I am originally from Southern Maine, but just recently moved back to Boston after living in Florida for 3 years to be closer to my parents, before that I worked as a nanny in Boston for 10 years. I love sports of all kinds, being outdoors, and I am fascinated with all different types of art. I have no children of my own, but I have known since I was young that I wanted to work with kids. I attended college for Child Development and Education, and have also completed some schooling in Deaf Education. I have taken care of all different types of families, and many different situations (now including Covid!), but I think that my experience of growing up with 4 brothers has prepared me for anything in life. I believe that children need to be active in order to have fun as well as to learn, and my strongest philosophy for life is that everyone needs to laugh!
