About Emma

I'd describe my personality as caring, down to earth, responsible, and playful. I'm extremely flexible and skilled in handling stressful situations in a calm, kind manner. I like working with kids because they bring so much joy to my life and help me see the world through a hopeful lense. I have worked with kids as a nanny, a camp counselor, a tutor, and a school garden instructor, and currently work as a supplemental teacher's aid in local special needs preschools. My skills include great communication, ability to meet a child at their developmental level, and ability to balance having fun while maintaining good boundaries. I have a degree I. psychology with a focus on child development, so I understand children's needs on a deep level and am passionate about being a positive influence on their developmental journey.
