About Emma

Hello! My name is Emma:) I worked as a teacher with children ages 2 - 3 at the Co-op Family Center for a total of about 2. 5 years. Beyond that, I have worked as a nanny on and off for many years of my life. I hope to make caring for children my vocation, and plan to attend Waldorf Teacher Training next year (September 2025). (the coursework schedule is light. and compatible with continuing to work:) ) I deeply value the importance and specialness of caring for children, and will provide an environment that fosters creativity, connection, discovery, and safety. When possible, I like to prioritize outdoor and screen-free time. I love allowing the child to lead the way with their interests and passions, while providing enough structure (pre-planned activities, when applicable) to encourage growth and learning.
