I was in immediate need for childcare for my then 4 week old and reached out to many caregivers with a bio that seemed to be a good fit for us. Emma was willing to step in the next day and was very punctual and communicated well the entire duration she cared for our children. She provided such care and attention to our infant while also engaging with our 5 year old for a few hours after returning home from school. I am a breastfeeding mama and follow the ABM/CDC guidelines for handling and storage of milk which she was very receptive to. Emma was even open minded and willing to learn about safe bottle feeding techniques for exclusively nursing infants. She also brought her own books to read during downtime and I adored that she loves to feed her brain! My vibrant 5 year old loves her very much and really enjoyed the arts and crafts they did together. Emma even tackled light housekeeping which was not asked or required of her but she did it willingly. There’s so much more I can say about Emma and we are sad to have left the area and no longer see her but I am grateful for the time she cared for our children especially during the very early post partum days when mama bear instincts are heightened. Thank you thank you Emma! I wish you well on all future endeavors and know any family you care for will be lucky to have you.
