About Emma
Experience: 3 yrs
For the past 3 years I have worked in Indonesia, Japan, Philippines and Madagascar doing Christian missions work. These included working in slums, teaching in schools about identity, anti bullying and how to love one another. During these times I fell in love working with children and teaching them from an early age that they are valued and setting them up well for the future. I did this for a non-profit organization called Youth With a Mission. I have also worked with the church back home (New Zealand) doing youth work with children aged 14 to 18 and I absolutely loved it! Since then I have moved to Norfolk, Virginia and have started my own furniture restoration business and am looking for a job on the side. I have plenty of experience as I have a energetic 3-year-old daughter -I have an interest in children and childhood development -Am certified in First Aid and CPR -Have a great ability to stay calm under pressure Please feel free to message me with any questions you have

My children LOVE Miss Emma, they say she is “nice and fun”, and that they want her to watch them every time I need a babysitter. Always on time and very trustworthy. If my kids enjoy her , then I enjoy her, we love Miss Emma!
