About Emma

Hello! I graduated high school with a 3. 7/4. 0, doing dual credit full time on top of high school classes my senior year. I was also part of an extra curricular which involved competitive test taking and my own SAT score in the reading section resulted in an invitation to a summer camp held at Stanford. I secured over half my tuition in scholarships to SIU. I am graduating early from SIU with a double major with honors, 6 student organization memberships and leadership, volunteer hours, and I have work experience including with the United States Congress. I'm majoring in history and political science and I've won an award at the collegiate level for my essay writing. Although I have never professionally tutored, I have been asked to assist other students in the classroom my entire life and did so. I have also babysat foster children and my own little brother. My skills include teaching research skills, study strategies, and making learning fun.
