About Emma

I'd describe my personality as goal-oriented, creative and kind. I like tutoring because it helps give the next generation more tools for learning and I think that's a beautiful thing. I'm looking for a job that allows me to teach creative freedom yet goal-oriented behaviors to inspire the student to use every resource they have to succeed. I started tutoring this year and it's made a difference in my own learning! I learn something new when I teach skills that have helped me in the past and it makes me feel incredibly proud seeing students that I tutored thrive. In my spare time, I like to paint watercolor canvases and draw. I also like to spend time with my cat! One thing you should know about me is I am neurodivergent so I think differently than someone who is not. It's a superpower in a way since it allows me to see things others may not have thought of! My skills include sketching, painting (watercolor), and English.
