I believe strongly about minimizing the stigma around disabilities. I worked as a Direct Support Professional with special needs adults for over 4 years. With 2 more years in a Supervisory role. I have had First Aide, CPR, and Level 1 Medication Aide training. I have my Bachelors in Biology from Mizzou, and am working towards my Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences emphasizing in Cannabis Science. I am studying to get involved in medical research for pain therapeutics. I have worked as an OT leader in Adapted Gymnastics for kids, as well as a mentor in College Mentors for Kids, so I am very comfortable with children, but my experience lies mostly with adults.
