I found my passion in working with the special needs population when I was 17 years old. Since then, I have worked with many abilities and ages in a variety of settings-everything from school, home, and recreation. I have experience working with autism and down syndrome individuals as well. I have spent a lot of time volunteering and many of those hours were with my special recreation department of my high school. Since high school I have over 100 hours in internships alone-this does not include volunteering! Most recently I have been working at a special recreation facility with participants from age 2-62!
