About Emma Lea

I'd describe my personality as kind, observant, and creative. Being around children is unlike any other job I have had, I find such joy in being apart of their world and helping them learn of the vast world beyond them. When working with kids I am brought to be so very present in my body and mind. I believe every child deserves to have all their needs met, be listened to, feel safe to dream and I want to be apart of the work that brings that to reality. I started working with kids when I myself was still a child. I have aided in indoor/ outdoor camps, weekly event childcare, been a babysitter and also a live in nanny. In my spare time, like to learn about ecology. I love to swim, even just being by a body of water enlivens me. Walking my neighbourhood streets looking for treasure like flowers and free piles is a frequent hobby of mine. I am a photographer and mixed media artist.
