About Emma

Hello, I'm Emma! I've been babysitting since middle school for family friends, neighbors, and have worked sporadically with kids during my college education. I have a degree in Music Therapy, and have taken numerous psychology and child development courses. I am the oldest of 4 siblings, so I understand the chaos that may emerge with multiple kids in the household. I've learned over the years that patience, understanding, and directness are very helpful when caring for multiple kids at once. I love spending time with kids, doing crafts and activities, getting outside in the fresh air, and cultivating a safe, playful, and creative environment! I love experiencing the wonderful world of kids' imagination and how they view the world differently. I love to encourage this curiosity and playfulness and support the kids in their unique gifts. In my free time, I love hiking, camping, learning new instruments, and world travel!
