About Emma

I am a GVSU alumni who has been working with children since high school. I have 3 years of experience babysitting children ages 6month-9yrs. I have 5 years of experience as a dance teacher for kids ages 3-18. I am a registered behavioral technician. I have experience working with children diagnosed with autism and Down syndrome. I have been fortunate to work in multi-ability art organizations and also conduct ABA therapy as a technician. I am a professional modern dancer, but this work is seasonal. This allows me to be available full time during the summer months and then after school from fall-spring. I am passionate about encouraging children's creativity and following their lead to help them further explore their interests. I know beginner ASL and could confidently continue practices with baby sign. This fall, I am pursuing a degree in ASL interpreting and I am motivated to work hard for your family to save up for school! Willing to get additional certifications as family prefers.
