About Emmah

I'd describe my personality as caring, open, and understanding. I like working with kids because I was raised with three other siblings so it comes naturally to me. Kids keep me young and allow me to not take life so seriously. I have helped facilitate numerous camps with kids aged 5-12 and have babysat infants, toddlers, and grade school kids for many years. I work as a camp counselor in the summer so a lot of what I do revolves around caring for children. I have worked with kids for as long as I can remember, as my youngest sister is nine years younger than me. I have played almost a maternal role in my younger siblings' lives and enjoy being a role model for them. In my spare time, I like to be outside, workout, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I am super adaptable and learn routines fast. I alter the way I care for kids based on parent preferences to ensure that I am instilling similar values in them as the parents would.
