I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic! I like working with kids because I find it very fulfilling to have the opportunity to be a safe space and potential role model in a child's life. I am also a very creative person and love to find ways to use that! This also plays into why I want to be a teacher. I started working with kids when I, myself, was a kid. I grew up with a sister 6 years younger than me that I helped take care of in her younger years and have a very strong, close relationship with now! I have always loved volunteering and working as a camp counselor for various church and community theatre day-camps in the summertime.
