About Emma

I've always loved working with children, and have been doing so since I was a very young teenager. From babysitting children ages 6 months-15 years, to being a camp counselor, and now working professionally with children as a farm based educator, it's always been a great joy of mine! I love the colorful imagination of a young person, and their desire to learn more about the world. In addition to working with children I have worked as a farmer, a gardener, a horticultural therapist, and a farm educator. Needless to say I love spending time outside and always love to share this passion with others. My approach to childcare is having open communication with parents about their boundaries, desires for structure, needs etc. and making sure we are always on the same page. I also care to learn about each child as an individual and adapt to their goals and desires!
