I want to assist in building confidence and will allow me to develop a relationship defined by positivity and encouragement with my student. I started tutoring soon after I became a substitute teacher and have worked one-on-one with students in their homes as well as online. I like to play piano, sing karaoke, tap dance, and go on Scavenger hunts with friends. I am very dedicated to helping my students learn and succeed academically and to building their confidence and skills. My top 3 tutoring skills include writing (all ages), and math (elementary school level, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1 and 2). However, I am also qualified to provide tutoring in English, such as phonics.
