About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma, but I go by Venn. The majority of my childcare experience comes from my time working as a camp counselor at a day camp with children aged 5-12. I was in charge of watching groups of ~25 children at once, which allowed me to gain insight into the development and personal needs of different age groups! While working this position I was given CPR & AED certification, as well as age-specific training ( how different aged children have different needs. ) I'm currently in college studying psychology, and I am also an artist and drummer, I love incorporating creativity into childcare, whether through painting or music to encourage self-expression and curiosity! I also value structure and am comfortable enforcing household rules while keeping a fun, positive atmosphere. I respect each family's parenting style and maintain open communication to ensure their child's needs are met and I'd love the opportunity to support your family!
