About Emma

Hello! My name is Emma, I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I recently graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with my bachelor's in social work. Throughout my education I completed numerous courses on early childhood education and development along with an internship where I worked with children of all ages in a therapeutic setting. With about one year of experience as a childcare provider, I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to thrive. I believe in open and effective communication with parents. I regularly provide updates on their child's day and am always available to discuss any issues or concerns. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules as guided by the parents. I always take lead from the parents and am comfortable enforcing household rules and procedures as instructed. In addition, I am able to adapt to the specific needs of each family.
