I worked at a school for children with Autism as a para educator. I worked in two different classes. Each class had about 10 children in them. Each child was so different so I really had to get to know each one and figure out how to help them individually. I regularly attended hours of training on working with children who have Autism. I learned so much about children with special needs and how to form relationships with them and help them learn and grow. I loved what I did. But we moved and I changed jobs. I would love to work with special needs children again.
