About Emma

I am a recent graduate of Bard College, where I studied French Literature and Language, as well as visual arts and music (specifically Jazz). I recently relocated back to Portland, and am excited to resume my work in childcare. I have a range of experience in childcare, including working as a camp counselor, as a nanny, as a children's literacy volunteer, and as a children's yoga instructor, among other things! My love of languages and the arts is something that I would love to incorporate into my work as a childcare provider, though I also know that parents know best what kinds of activities their children would most enjoy! I would be more than happy to teach French as part of my services. I am also happy to provide cooking and light house cleaning. Creating an environment of play, silliness, creativity, and unplugged fun is central to my approach!
