About Emily

I have 7+ years experience as a full-time Nanny to children ranging from 3 months-16 years old. I believe children thrive in an environment where they feel loved and believed in. I foster outdoor and imaginative play, crafts, and am not afraid to get on the floor with the kids. Building character and social and emotional skills is a large focus of my interactions with the children I serve. I use teachable moments throughout each day to push children to become their best possible selves. When it comes to learning, I incorporate foundational reading and math skills through play based on each child's interests. While every child is different, so far, all four of the infants/toddlers I have worked with were able to read prior to starting kindergarten. I have experience potty training, building meal and nap time routines as well as balancing complex schedules (e. g., after school activities, sporting events, play dates, etc.). CPR certified. Clean driving record.
