I am a current student at Texas State and my major is All-Level Special Education. I have wanted to work with kids with special needs since I was in 6th grade. Because I have known I have wanted to do this for so long I have done multiple things that let me work with special needs children. I participated in Partners in PE in 8th grade, I helped in Miracle League in 10th grade, I volunteered in Special Olympics throughout high school and senior year I was a PAL and I helped assist and teach in middle school Life Skills classroom. All of these opportunities gave me so much experience with special needs children and I loved every moment of it!
