I don't think the way most people do and I sometimes upset people with my views. I don't mean to. It's just that I don't really see people as "disabled". I actually loathe that word. People are just different with different levels of ability. Most people that I've met that don't have any super talents have the most amazing hearts, the best smiles and give the best hugs. Most of the time I've spent assisting with people was not paid. I was a babysitter for a young girl from the age of 10 until 16. That's pretty young, right? We just played together because she was only a year younger than me. I helped her eat and walk and whatever else she needed. We tried learning ASL but her hands didn't cooperate. I also worked/lived in a group home for a short amount of time leaving only due to an emergency situation out of state.
