Hello! I'm Emily and I am a rising senior at School. I've lived on the Upper West Side near Columbia University for over 11 years now. I have firsthand experience working with neurodivergent children. A younger family member whom I have lived with for 12 years has OCD. I myself have ADHD, allowing me to more effectively relate to children who may understand and see the world differently than neurotypical people. I've participated in multiple therapy (CBT and DBT) programs designed to educate teens and parents how to better communicate, resolve conflicts, regulate emotions, and more. I can also do housework, like cleaning, organizing, and laundry. I am familiar with Spanish (studied for 6 yrs), Mandarin (parents' native language), ASL, and a little bit of Latin.
