About Emily

I'm a highly responsible, patient, and understanding caretaker who puts health and safety first. I have paid experience babysitting children between ages 5-11 years old, I've helped take care of toddlers age 1-3, and lifeguarded kids of all ages at a public pool. I've also taught swim lessons and am passionate about physical fitness. I always strive to make sure the kids in my care feel heard, seen, and comfortable while we have fun and learn together. More about me: I'm a lifelong learner and I know how intimidating new topics can be; after graduating with my bachelor's degree from OU in Mathematics with minors in International Studies and Chinese, I've continued to study languages and work towards professional technical certifications. I'd describe myself as kind, curious, and optimistic. In my free time, I volunteer with cultural groups, bake, and play with my cats.
