About Emily

I have over seven years of experience caring for children of all ages. I'm currently stepping away from my full time job as a teacher mainly because the classroom setting has been a bit overwhelming this past year. I love being a teacher and fostering young minds but I think I truly thrive in a more intimate setting with less children. I was a full-time nanny for a family for about a year before I went into teaching and I absolutely loved it so I thought I'd give it another try. I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, completed early childhood development coursework and hold certifications in First Aid and CPR. I spent 3 years working as an assistant, lead and afterschool teacher with children ages 10 months to 5 years old. Besides childcare, I can help with meal preparation, homework, fun crafts, housekeeping, running errands, travel, and swimming supervision if needed. I have my own car so transportation is no issue.
