Hi everyone! I am currently a tour guide in the National Parks, beginning to pursue higher education in Nursing. I graduated from Penn State in 2018 with a degree in Outdoor Education, and a focus in Special Ed. I have about 12 years of paid experience, with all different age groups. In the past 10 years, I have spent my time working Environmental Education at a Camp , leading 10 week Gap Semesters, and professional guiding in the National Parks. I'm a pretty upbeat person who can make any activity fun- cleaning, cooking, homework, and play can all be equally as entertaining for young's when presented in the right way! I love baking, crafts, music, and everything outdoors. For the past 12 years, I have taken care of my step-sister who has Down syndrome and type 1 diabetes. I am very comfortable working with an insulin pump, but also am capable of doing injections. I strive to continue to offer inclusive programming everywhere I teach! Hope to hear from you soon!

Emily is a wonderful, incredibly reliable caregiver for special occasions (date nights) for our 7 year old son. She is dependable and punctual and our son always has a good time with her. Now, when we tell him it's "date night," he asks if Emily is coming over. When I confirm, he says "yes!" and gives me a high give. She is mature and kind beyond her years. Totally awesome!
