About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I have dedicated the last eight years to being a childcare provider in a variety of contexts because I'm passionate about nurturing young minds and making a positive impact on children's lives. With a bachelor's degree in psychology and youth ministry, I'm well-equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment. I'm creative, friendly, and empathetic, and I believe in open communication with parents about their child's day. I'm experienced in caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, and I'm comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm a very interactive caregiver and I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, etc. I am seeking a caregiving position while I go to grad school full time for a master of arts in counseling psychology. I have worked full time for the past five years as a Director of Youth Ministries for a church and I am excited to bring that creativity to your family!
