About Emily

I'd describe my personality as straight forward, flexible, relaxed. I like tutoring because I can offer support and individual help to students who often times fall through the cracks in traditional education. I love building students confidence. I'm looking for a job that allows children to take control of their own choices and explore the world around them. I started tutoring when I graduated high school, I started with online tutoring and began in person tutoring during my time in the classroom. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, sleep, play video games, and do DIY projects. One thing you should know about me is that I believe children are capable human beings who are stakeholders in their own care, education, and choices. My skills include math fluency, ASL, and executive functioning skills.
