About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily. I have over a decade of experience babysitting, as well as 5 years of experience as a professional nanny, including time as a full time salaried nanny. I am a pre-law student at UO, and I feel lucky that childcare has allowed me to transition from full to part time as I pursue higher education. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, creativity, and building strong relationships with both children and families. I believe in open and transparent communication with parents, ensuring that we work together to provide a comfortable and fun experience for your child. With my experience, I am confident in my ability to provide a nurturing and fun environment. I enjoy and have worked for several families that employ Montessori style learning. My favorite activities to do with children are: reading at all levels, age appropriate educational games, and language games, I speak Italian but enjoy learning along with the children for other languages!
