I worked as a substitute teacher in a middle school for the '21/'22 school year, and have been doing one-on-one therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician with kids with autism and other disabilities (2-11 y/o) for the past year. I have also spent a lot of time caring for my 5-year-old brother since he was born. Currently, I work in Pulaski County Public Schools as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I love crafting, playing sports, and teaching children. I can cook, assist with potty training, do light chores around the house (dishes, laundry, sweeping), and have no issues driving kids to any activities or assisting with homework. I am one year away from completing my undergrad in psychology, and have completed several courses focused on childhood and lifetime development. I would love to assist you with all your childcare needs, but more importantly, I would love to become another trusted and empathetic adult in your child's life!

Emily has taken care of our non-verbal autistic son, 6, many times, from an evening up to a week at a time since he was very young. She's both fun and professional, and so naturally good with children. Our son was quicky comfortable with her, and she even gets him to do things that we can't lol We don't trust many people with our son, but we're very comfortable leaving him with Emily!
