About Emily

I'd describe my personality as easygoing, creative, and intelligent. I like working with kids because it has come to me so naturally and I want as much experience as I can get before having my own. I started working with kids when I was 12 as a mother's helper for a mom of 3. Ever since then, I've worked on and off for families with varying ages of children throughout high school and college. Including full time for an infant during COVID shut down. In my spare time, I like to practice ballet, spend time outdoors (hiking, biking, boating) and watch movies. Fun fact! I also work at The Adventure Park. It's a ropes course and zip lining park. Lots of fun for ages 5 and up! My skills include making kids feel comfortable with a stranger, assessing need for medical attention, following specific instructions to suit your routine and making sure there are less toys on the floor than when you left! P. S. I have an associates degree!
