About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily! I have an Associates in Child Growth and Development and I am working on a Bachelors in Middle Level Education with a concentration in mathematics. My experience I goes all the way back to elementary school! I went to Ringgold and I often finished my work early, I would ask my teachers if I could help others. They would say yes and sometimes ask me if I didn't ask them first! In fifth grade, I spent most days of recess in the art room. I helped my art teacher with kindergarteners. At the end of the school year she gave me an artsy snow-globe as a Thank you. I still have it, and it's beautiful. I also want to add, helping others is my kind of fun. You could say it's in my blood, my mom is a nurse and my dad is a veteran. I also worked with an after school program for an elementary school. Most recently, I helped my younger brother get through the last few months of his school year because he was struggling due to everything being online.
