About Emily

I like caring for seniors because I have a great respect for people who have lived life and had experiences that younger people can learn from. I love the unique lives and experiences of seniors from past generations. I have empathy for people who are aging and not capable of doing all they used to, and want to be available to ease and soothe those life changes. I am very interested in history and "olden days" and love hearing the stories of past times. I'm looking for a job where I can connect and enhance the family that I am working for. I enjoy a large variety of interests from cooking to gardening to games and nature and I would like to share that with a senior who needs a companion. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids, take nature walks and photograph wildlife, play games, do crafts and cook. My skills include showing interest in what my client enjoys and connecting through conversation and activities in or out of the house.
