About Emily

I have three years of CNA experience and counting. I started working in healthcare in November of 2020. I felt called to service amid the pandemic and turned my life's calling into something meaningful. I received my STNA certification in Kentucky and moved back to West Lafayette where I grew up to be closer to family. I have had my Indiana CNA license for over a year now and am looking to change to one-on-one based care. I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2015 with a BA in Telecommunications and got my break in the film/television industry. However, I decided that it was not my calling after much soul searching. Now I am taking prerequisite classes through Ivy Tech in the hopes of being able to apply to Purdue's Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) in the next couple of years. In my spare time, I love to read, watch movies, and take my dog to the dog park. I love helping others and feel at my best when I can open my heart to spend quality time with those for which I care!
