About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily, I am a Brooklyn-based childcare provider and theatermaker. I have 10+ years of experience as a babysitter, petsitter, teacher, and tutor. I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from Temple University, so play and creativity are an integral part of my caretaking style, and I would be well suited for a family with an imaginative young one! I work 4 days a week as a barista but am looking to earn a little extra money doing something that I love. I am very communicative, and believe that it is important to develop a relationship with all members of the family so that everybody can feel at ease, comfortable, heard, and respected. With me, your child will explore empathy and morality through inquisitive play and self-expression. I am comfortable preparing meals, and I am also willing to help with other tasks if requested! I strive to be a stable, safe, and warm figure in the lives of the children I work with.
