About Emily

I enjoy tutoring because I help kids feel comfortable and confident in their work. I know what it's like to struggle in school, but when they finally understand something, it's rewarding to see their sense of accomplishment. My skills include math, science, social studies, and more. I listen to students and adjust my approach to fit their needs. I'm looking for a job that rewards me for helping kids learn and understand their educational needs. I focus on building their confidence to ask questions and get help when they need it. I started tutoring in college, helping classmates with weaker subjects. It's always been something I enjoy. In my spare time, I read novels, draw, and design costumes, which I studied in school. I love going on walks in nature to disconnect from my phone. Soon, I'll have a service dog for my heart condition. If that's an health concern for your family I can happily leave them at home.
